Grosse Pointe Optimist Club President Dave Fries presents a $500 check to nonprofit Furniture Bank of Southeastern Michigan Executive Director Robert Boyle and Development Director Erica Sanders during a presentation at the War Memorial in Grosse Pointe.  The Furniture Bank supplies families in need with basic furniture.  The Optimist Club donation will pay for new mattresses and box springs for children's beds.
