Speak to the World...Inspire the Future
The Optimist Oratorical Contest offers young people a powerful opportunity to speak to the world. This annual program helps students build confidence, sharpen public speaking skills, and share their thoughts and ideas with their fellow students, school faculty and parents.
First held in 1928, the Oratorical Contest is one of the Optimists most popular programs. Today, nearly 2,000 Clubs around the world host local competitions each year.
